I love how the adult teacher training program was designed to be like a Montessori program in itself. For instance, the lessons were designed to be in manageable chunks to help you gain confidence with each step. There was repetition, mastery, and then new material introduced, just like the approach you would be using in the Montessori classroom. The design of the program (distance learning) was also Montessori-like, in that it was flexible, it suited my learning style, and had clear expectations. I found that I could easily fit this program into my schedule, adapt as needed when “life came up,” but still achieve the same goal at the end.

The additional resources, such as the blacklines and videos, were invaluable. So worth the money. I was able to put the blacklines and instruction received from the videos to immediate use. The videos were particularly helpful when I got to the Math manual. Reading all the fine details of how to explain simple and complex mathematical concepts can be difficult to wade through, but, the videos were so engaging and helped you immediately “get it.”

I feel NAMC is not only a wonderful educational resource for achieving the Montessori diploma, but very professional! I have had several of my teaching staff receive their education with this facility and all have been very delighted. I highly recommend NAMC to any individual; in fact, they are the ONLY one I recommend!

The training provides practical guidance for conducting Montessori teaching as a scientific approach that leads to true natural development in children. It presents comprehensive technology for implementing this true natural Montessori teaching to effectively control the environment, not the child. All the manuals and the classroom guide are so enriched with useful information and are updated with the latest scientific discoveries. I would highly recommend this program to everyone, and want to enroll myself in the next program level.

I really enjoyed working through the material and found it very informative and in-depth (I even learned a few things that I have forgotten over the years, especially in the Math assignment!)
