I couldn't be happier about the entire program. The manuals
are beautifully done, clear, informative, and easy to
understand and digest. To my mind, the course materials
represent a well-balanced approach to Montessori education.
I have been especially impressed with the comprehensive
Language Arts program created by NAMC. This program could
be a model for schools everywhere.
In every way, NAMC has met and exceeded my expectations--in
its professionalism, its commitment to its students, and its
approach to the materials.

You have renewed my faith in continuing education
and certification! The course materials are well written
and beautifully illustrated, while the examples and lesson
plans are easily applicable to any Montessori classroom.
My tutor’s response was prompt and she was very
supportive of my desire to learn, and provide the most
complete answers that I could. The feedback I received
on all of my assignments was not only timely, it was positive
and concise. You should be proud North American Montessori
Center! Your professionalism is second to none! You should
feel honored by the responsibility you have taken to be
an invaluable resource for the outstanding Montessori
programs we have in our country! I truly feel prepared
to fulfill my position as directress at Children’s
House Montessori.

Thank you for the wonderful Preschool/Kindergarten
training program. This is a professionally organized program.
The training provides practical guidance for conducting
Montessori teaching as a scientific approach that leads
to true natural development in children. It presents comprehensive
technology for implementing this true natural Montessori
teaching to effectively control the environment, not the
child. All the manuals and the classroom guide are so
enriched with useful information and are updated with
the latest scientific discoveries. I would highly recommend
this program to everyone, and want to enroll myself in
the next program level.
My tutor was very professional, cooperative and positive
in her feedback. Thanks to her too, for all her time, support, and
confidence in me. It was a great experience.words can never describe
the training and its benefits...a total success.

I enjoyed the Infant/Toddler programme. In New Zealand
an Infants and Toddlers Montessori teacher training programme
is not available, and there are very few infant and toddler
classes/schools. We were one of the first ones in our
area to set up an infants and toddlers room to compliment
the 3-6 room, so NAMC’s programme was very helpful.
It helped develop an understanding of Montessori education
for the youngest age grouping, and refine the presentation
process, as well as provide lots of ideas for integrating
the method into our classroom. We have the manuals in
our classroom to act as guides when needed

I feel NAMC is not only a wonderful educational resource
for achieving the Montessori diploma, but very professional!
I have had several of my teaching staff receive their
education with this facility and all have been very delighted.
I highly recommend NAMC to any individual, in fact,
they are the ONLY one I recommend!

I love how the adult teacher training program was designed
to be like a Montessori program in itself. For instance,
the lessons were designed to be in manageable chunks to
help you gain confidence with each step. There was repetition,
mastery, and then new material introduced, just like the
approach you would be using in the Montessori classroom.
The design of the program (distance learning) was also
Montessori-like, in that it was flexible, it suited my
learning style, and had clear expectations. I found
that I could easily fit this program into my schedule,
adapt as needed when "life came up," but still
achieve the same goal at the end.
The additional
resources, such as the blacklines and videos, were invaluable.
So, worth the money. I was able to put the blacklines
and instruction received from the videos to immediate
use. The videos were particularly helpful when I got
to the Math manual. Reading all the fine details of
how to explain simple and complex mathematical concepts
can be difficult to wade through, but, the videos were
so engaging and helped you immediately "get it.".

I felt the Preschool/Kindergarten program and course
material provided was very educational and informative.
I have worked in a Montessori school for over a decade,
and now, I finally feel that I have a better understanding
of the methodology, and how to properly present the
Montessori materials to a child. I am very pleased with
the program and would recommend it to anyone interested
in Montessori. I find NAMC’s manuals a great help
and reference prior to doing a presentation.

I have truly enjoyed the pace and understanding
of your program. The materials are well done, highly
motivating, and I really appreciated the CD to have
on hand for further use. I would highly recommend your
program to anyone who wanted to become certified in
Montessori.

I completed my course and received my Preschool/Kindergarten
diploma in 2008. I learned so much and feel it was true
value for money. Having the Preschool/Kindergarten DVDs
on hand is so helpful when I want to review a presentation
- I definitely recommend them!.
Within one month of receiving my diploma, I was
offered an assistant teaching position at a Montessori
school, and now four months later, I have been promoted
to Directress. I am very excited. NAMC definitely prepared
me for success.

This program is the best. The curriculum is
very detailed, interesting, simple and interactive. People
admire NAMC’s Montessori curriculum because of the
quality and because everything is well explained.
I must confess I am happy and can't stop telling people
as much as I can about this program. My tutor has been
very motivating and this kept me going. Please don’t
stop doing the good job you are doing. Thanks.

This is a very professionally organized program. It
presents the basic ideas of Montessori’s philosophy
and practice in a very clear and understandable manner.
The course materials are very well written and organized.
It’s easy to see the Guide concepts in practice,
to see the progression of difficulty, and to see the child’s
evolving abilities.

Words can’t express how thankful I
am for your program! My journey in becoming a Montessorian
though your program has been nothing but an exciting and
encouraging experience. Studying the Guides and presentations
from your curriculum materials provided me with the confidence
to advocate more than ever for our children to enrich
their learning and help them to reach their full potential.
I fell in love and learned to appreciate the Montessori
curriculum so much, as I find it to be very individualized
to meet each unique interest and needs of the child. I
would like to thank my tutor for all the support and feedback
during my journey of becoming a Montessorian. I am so
proud to say that I am part of NAMC.

I have enjoyed this program so much! You all have been
so supportive and I have appreciated all the feedback,
and kind understanding words. I cannot wait to keep continuing
my education with you. The additional resources on CD
that had all the worksheets on it, has helped me so much;
the children are enjoying every part of it. I have never
had a college or teacher so interested in my education
and needs.

I really enjoyed working through the material and found
it very informative and in-depth (I even learned a few
things that I have forgotten over the years, especially
in the Math assignment). I think once you see these programs
applied in a Montessori school, it will all fall 100%
into place and you will be able to refer back to the manuals
and backline masters CD for your curriculum support materials.
I am very excited about this new career that I am embracing
and it would not have been possible without this great
experience I had with NAMC.
As for the feedback,
it’s been truly wonderful. My tutor responded
to every query or question I had within a day’s
time and her help and guidance made a world of difference.
Even though I am halfway around the world from NAMC,
it really felt as if I was just around the corner! My
tutor’s feedback was always very professional
and helpful and if I had any uncertainties, they were
clarified immediately. Needless to say, the support
was amazing and I could have not hoped for a better
teacher, thank you very much!
I was a bit scared to go back to studying after
so many years of working, but NAMC made the whole experience
an absolute joy and I am very grateful for this wonderful
experience I had, Thank you very much!

I find myself enjoying learning about new topics
and do like the fact that the NAMC manuals are updated
with new scientific discoveries. It is important to
learn and explore new discoveries. The teaching style
learned with NAMC gave me the flexibility to do so.
I truly enjoyed the course and recommend it without
hesitation.

You guys are awesome! Thank you so much for the
US History album. I am eagerly awaiting the math
albums and more. Our two upper elementary
classes are thrilled with the albums we have thus
far...thrilled! I've been teaching for 16 years and
have made many attempts to come up with the same type
of manual...let's just say mine never came out too well...
Thank you for this brilliant work. I showed one of
your albums to our AMI consultant who found it
very interesting and gave a big nod of approval. Thanks again.

This program is fantastic! I have wanted to go
back to school for some time, but could not find a program
that was as flexible as NAMC. I work full-time, and
nanny after school, so it is hard (and stressful) for
me to be able to attend night and weekend classes. This
program allows me to do the work at home and work at
my own pace to complete assignments, which is so much
more conducive to my schedule.
The information I am finding in the manuals is very
helpful and easy to follow. I am excited to implement
the new materials in my classroom. The ideas are thought
provoking. I find that when I am done reading about
an activity, my mind is racing to figure out what else
I can do with that activity to make it different or
add on to it.
The support I am getting from my tutor is wonderful;
I just received a call from her the other day checking
to make sure everything was alright. The feedback from
my tutor on my assignments is helpful, and she makes
me feel like she really cares about each student and
the student’s success even after they have completed
the program. Overall, this has been a really great experience,
and I am looking forward to becoming a Montessori teacher!

While I was working on my assignments, I was so
happy, and that is why I finished them quickly. I like
the “don’t say” and “do say”
table very much as it helped me to understand what to
say and what not to say to my children. I am very happy
with the Montessori way of letting the children depend
on themselves and to self-correct themselves. I believe
the information in this program will help a lot of parents
to be better parents without leaving their work or life.

The CLASSROOM GUIDE will be riddled. I shall always
have it at my fingertips. It is a “Bible”
for a Montessori teacher. It tells about the method, including
its history and its special terms. It helps the teacher
be able to implement the ideas, materials, and techniques
of the method when working with students according to
the typical growth and development of each child.
It provides ideas on designing the environment, making
presentations, phasing in students at the start of the
school year, and making sure that each day meets as many
of the students’ needs and interests as possible.
On the flip side, it looks into handling discipline in
the classroom by modeling appropriate kinds of behavior
for the students and guiding them to suitable kinds of
behavior. It also formulates ideas for connecting with
parents and the community. Invaluable! Thank you!

I feel that this program provided me with materials

feedback was very quick and clear. Thanks for a wonderful

I did not realize how involved you (NAMC staff)
would be when I started the program. It was a pleasant
surprise to have you so involved and it helped build
confidence in my answers and understanding of the Montessori
method. I love the manuals! They will be such wonderful
resources to have. I am also pleased to have the on-line
membership available for one year. I appreciated the
option to pay my fees in installments and having the
materials always arrive on time. Thank you and I wish
you continued success with your program.

The program opened my eyes to many different approaches
a teacher can use to grasp a student’s enthusiasm
for learning while teaching interdependence. Being in
the traditional program of education, this course has
been a great asset to me. Overall, this is one of
the best experiences I have had in my life. I wish
that all teachers going through general education training
could receive some background information on the Montessori
method. It is a method that is truly unique and can
provide some wealth and knowledge for the children.
This program provided me with an enriched experience
that I will always carry with me throughout my teaching
career.

The program assignment questions related well with
the comprehensive manuals. Some questions engaged reflective
thought based on how I would implement my teaching skills,
and I personally felt that helped create a vision toward
self-preparation. The video supplementations were key
in integrating the Montessori presentations and were extremely
helpful!

I have thoroughly enjoyed the program. I have been
a teacher in South America for over 20 years, but I’ve

and supportive. I would have no hesitation in
recommending your program to anyone. Thank

I found the NAMC’s program to be a
great asset in my desire to improve my professionalism
and teaching skills. I’ve learned a lot
from the program. Although I was familiar with the Montessori
Method before beginning this program, as I learned more,
I realized that many things that I heard were just stereotypes
that people portrayed. I found the manuals to be easy
reading, enjoyable, and very informative. I’ve
read most of the manuals more than once and I enjoy
reading them in my spare time, especially the math,
language and science ones. I really hope to incorporate
as much as I can in my Pre-K classroom next year.
I found the professionalism at NAMC to be
outstanding. Anyone I spoke to with the phone
prior to enrolling was polite, pleasant and very helpful.
The assignment feedback that I received from my instructor
encouraged me further and made me really want to incorporate
as many aspects of the Montessori Method as I can in
my classroom. I have bought many materials for use in
my classroom, even though my school is not a Montessori
school at all. I appreciated getting a call and it was
nice to receive feedback on a personal level, not just
a grade. I was also impressed with how fast I got a
response—in under a week!
Although I am still viewing the online videos, they
have been very helpful. This resource is one
of the reasons that I can confidently say that even
though this course is a correspondence course, you can
still feel as if you are in the classroom being taught
how to use all the materials.
Overall I really think I gained a lot from
this program and I am proud to add it to my resume.
I thank you for offering such a unique opportunity.

I have a preschool of my own and I refuse
to use any other institution for my training.
As well, I have pulled my two children out of a local

year running through your 6 - 9 curriculum with them.
They are now nicely caught up and ready to begin the

will never be able to fathom how much this has done
for my children.

I received my Diploma today! I am so happy!
The course was excellent. I really appreciate how quickly
you responded to my work; you never left me in the dark!
When I would receive an e-mail from you, I would be
so nervous hoping that I did well, and thankfully I
did. It was so nice to know you were always there if
I needed you! The girls at work gave me a beautiful
gift and card for completing the program. I am very
lucky to be working in such a lovely, small school.

I have worked in 3-6 for eleven years, and this
is my third year in a 6-9 program. I understood the
Montessori philosophy and some equipment, but not all,
and was unclear how it all fit together; what comes
first, next, etc., and parallel activities. Doing
this program, I now can see a clear picture of where
I want to take my class and how this all fits together.
I have begun to make equipment using the blackline masters
and it is fantastic. I have had a willing parent volunteer
and she is working her way through the geography equipment
(I had none of this in my classroom). The quality is
very good and extensive. The manuals are well-presented,
clear, and so attractive, how could you not want to
work with them? Support has always been quick, helpful,
and organized. The emails are always professional, to
the point, and so helpful. I have nothing but praise
for this training.

Before I embarked on this journey with
NAMC, I researched other institutions, but I was so
impressed with what you had to offer me which is why
I decided to study through NAMC. I am currently

is truly universal. I truly appreciate the network of
people involved in my training to become a Montessori
