How the Montessori Preschool/Kindergarten
Diploma Program Unfolds...
Students can enroll at any time in the Montessori
Preschool/Kindergarten diploma program.
The program is divided into three separate components
(as outlined in the Program Overview). Each component
must be completed within a two month and ten day period,
for an approximate total of seven consecutive months (this
includes shipping and handling time). Students do need
to adhere to our three, consecutive ten week terms. However,
in situations of emergency or duress, extensions are offered.
Associated assignments accompany the six Montessori
curriculum manuals, blackline masters and one full-year of on-line access to our professionally designed training videos.
Students
are expected to thoroughly read all of the material
sent to them. They are also required to mail or email
their assignments to the Center for marking. Accurate
completion of the assignments ensures us that students
understand the program.
Students requiring assistance are welcome to contact
the Training Center via our toll-free number 1.877.531.6665
(USA and Canada) or 604.531.6665 (International callers)
or email us at info@montessoritraining.net
at any time during the course.
All students are assigned a tutor who is available
for assistance via e-mail and toll-free number (Canada/USA
only). The tutor personally emails all students (as
well as telephones our American and Canadian students),
upon completion of each component. It is the tutor's
goal to establish a dialogue and provide personal
feedback.
Graduates of this program receive the North American
Montessori Center Teaching Diploma for Preschool/Kindergarten
(ages 2.8-6 years).
